One of my favorite products to rip. And unlike most break write ups, this is was pretty much down the middle I think in terms of quality. In terms of quantity, I can't complain - 11 hits in 3 boxes.
Here we go...
Boxloaders. I love these. Always a surprise to open the box lid and see if you got a Rip card. Nothing special from these three boxes, but I do enjoy the possibilities here.
First pack, first box - BOOM! Carl Yastrzemski Rip card. As always, I let it sit for a few minutes under the pretense that we might not rip it, and as always, I did rip it. Rip card was cool, and of course I was hoping for something amazing, but the Sandberg mini was pretty nice also.
Other hits:
A few nice ones, a few weird ones... that's A&G, right? The Jeter relic was the fourth hit out of a box, so that was definitely a pleasant surprise. Don't know much about the skateboarder, but framed mini autos are always sweet. I love the design of the Robles relic, and as a child of the early 90s, how could you not like a Marc Summers relic!
Other notes:
Pulled 1 Vladdy and 1 Alonso in 3 boxes. Mini SPs were ok - nothing numbered. In fact, nothing numbered at all in the three boxes other than the rip card.
The inserts are typically classic and weird. The History of Flight ones are amazing. I could totally collect that whole insert set, and they don't appear to be that rare. They are fantastic looking cards - so fantastic looking in fact that after the first one, I assumed it must be a really rare insert!
All are available. Thanks for looking.
Love God, Love Others!
